Whoop! The winner of the Miss Nigeria 2013, Miss
Ezinne Akudo Anyaoha has been honoured by the Imo State Governor for
emerging the winner of the beauty pageant.
In honoring her, the speaker of the Imo state house of assembly disclosed that a motion has been moved for her to become the face of the state, adding that a road be named after her so that it will always be in history that one of their own won the prestigious Miss Nigeria crown to serve as an inspiration to other younger girls in the state as well as the unborn.
Alongside the adopted motion for her to be the face of Imo and naming a popular road in Owerri after her, Akudo was also presented a cash gift of N500,000. See new photos of her here

Ailing veteran actor Pa Kasumu gradually losing his voice and sight
Niece to the veteran actor and coordinator of the Save Pa Kasumu Group, Mrs Idowu Olajide, spoke on the recent development and Governor Fashola's promise. She said:
"As it is now, the situation is very disturbing. He has lost his voice but we believe with God, all things are possible. Governor Fashola directed him to First Cardiologist Hospital Ikoyi and the result from the test has been sent to him. We really appreciate the governor's step, it's in the right direction. But he hasn't said he would give Pa Kasumu N12million as been peddled and we have not received any money from him. So, we are still appealing to all the good-hearted Nigerians to come to the aid of Pa Kasumu because weather or not he is flown abroad, the ailment needs serious maintenance which will cost a lot of mo

A 33-year-old man has spent five years and $100,000
in an effort to look like his hero – teenaged pop idol Justin Bieber.
Toby Sheldon is a songwriter from Los Angeles who has used Bieber’s
youthful features as the inspiration for numerous surgeries, including
face fillers, a chin reduction and eyelid surgery.
He took a picture of Bieber to his plastic surgeon to demonstrate exactly how he wanted his hair to look. ’It took three transplants and a total of $21,000 to accurately lower my hair line, close off my temples and grow back my bangs,’ he says.
